Bonaparte brings fun and fantasy to Lundi Gras

The Krewe of Bonaparte ball is always held on the Monday before Fat Tuesday at the height of Mardi Gras celebrations. The Emperor Napoleon and his Empress Josephine, John Fenstermaker and the lovely Reneé Reaux, reigned over a huge crowd gathered at the Cajundome Convention Center on Feb. 8.

This year' theme "Bucket List" gave a whimsical glimpse at all the things we want to do someday. Of course, this Krewe knows how to party, they've been around since 1972 and are still going strong.
